so wtf happened to azalie?
she's the main attraction here not some blonde bimbo lol

Iskandar • 10 months ago

This is me vaguely remembering the previous episode and making my own conclusions, but I think Azalie, Almagest (Lord) and Lottecia sacrificed themselves to summon the Demon King's powers onto Orphen. I remember Almagest saying having 3 summoners (instead of only Lottecia based on Corgon's plan) increases the chance of success.

arra1213 • 10 months ago

thats too bad i want more azalie since i heard there are still more thats stories in the light novel that the anime hasnt covered yet just like claiomh got married to orphen

Iskandar • 10 months ago

But hey, "anything's possible" with Demon King Orphen's powers. xD

Majutsushi Orphen Hagure Tabi: Seiiki-hen (Sorcerous Stabber Orphen 4th Season) (Sorcerous Stabber Orphen -Doom of Dragon's Sanctuary)
Source: LN.
Genres: Action, adventure, drama, fantasy.
Studio: Studio Deen.
(Known for the ever loved Kanosuba, Sankarea, Super Lovers, Get Backers, Gravatation, and more.)
Personal thoughts:
What's put the pros for the cons on this.
Pro's: It focus on major characters development on though out this 1 so arc to finish this series.
Good fight scenes.

Con's: This final arc was bland and boring, which Claiomh was still so ever annoying along with Majic and even worst the bad comic relief of those two Dwarves which it was more centered on the Sanctuary arc which some side characters were really good in this but get killed off that's also a con.

This whole story was utter confusing and made no sense once so ever that was so off putting and the romance between Claio & Ophen was meh.

S1 started out good and I got hooked being a reboot + S2 followed that was still good but S3 was dry and boring, then followed by this last season.

This was lackluster and a waste of time in investing in a fantasy story and surprise I stuck with it and just hoping it got better (even the whole Corgan and Ophen fight that was wasted.

As for many reboot anime's this one should have not been made unless to give closure to the fandom of this franchise... 2/10 rating.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 9 months ago

Highlight of this ep was Claiomh's cowboy look ^^

Violetta Bertini • 10 months ago

Well, I was mostly satisfied with the show and it was nice also to see old characters from the first season pop up; a bit anti-climatic that Orphen did not try to resurrect Azalea or Lottecia (yet), but otherwise we got a sense of closure; a bit unfair that Corgon was denied his magical abilities, though.

Great to see Reki back in full shape; a bit less great to see the stupid dwarfs still alive :(

Deus The Great • 10 months ago

WTF is this ending? They just ended like that without a proper ending? Lol watching for more than 4 seasons and this is it.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 9 months ago

Yeah, this left a sour taste -__-",

Enemy Of Humanity (Alice) • 6 months ago

Funny how Orphen used the word "fragmented" for his World Transcript. Someone in episode 10 comments said the story is "too fragmented". I don't get to hear this word very often.

The animation was all over the place, but I enjoyed the journey. It's still a mystery to me how this got 4 seasons, but I'm always grateful when a series gets fully animated to the end instead of making me read the source material. So, thank you!

Iskandar • 10 months ago

So Orphen has resurrection powers somehow that he hasn't tested? Anyways, glad he and Claiomh continue to travel together <3, with Deus Ex Machina Leki. Oh wait, Orphen is a DEM as well now. I still wished they both expressed more romantic cues toward each other since they're so vague being close friends. But I guess it's not yet the time.

In the previous anime adaptation ending, Majic ended up learning from Heartia in the Tower of Fangs, not that much different, at least now with an older chick.

I did not expect the Tish x Forte relationship at all, there was never a sign, but off-camera stuff are a thing. I wonder how Forte got out of that dimension Damian Rue threw him into. Also I read that the baby Tish was carrying is the protagonist of the sequel (novel) that is set 20 years later. xD

If there was a continuation, I'd guess the Dwarves will still be tailing Orphen. Because they're lonely. Also nice cameo by Salua and Madchen from Season 2's Kimluk arc.

Enemy Of Humanity (Alice) • 6 months ago

There was a sign actually in season 1...hmm lemme check...yup, episode 9 Forte said to her "you used to be cute" and she said "I already rejected you", he replied "my feelings for you haven't changed". Good for him, hehe.

Violetta Bertini • 10 months ago

I actually preferred it that way than a cliched romance with a lot of cheesy stuff; it is more like "deep friends ending up together in the long run" than "love at first sight" BS (like Haertia for whichever girl he meets first :D).

Isabella seems to me just slightly older than Majic?

Maybe Forte is just a total simp and the child is from Haertia, who knows :D

Yep, that sense of continuity and larger cast was a nice touch :)

Iskandar • 10 months ago

Yeah, I was okay with it too. Orphen and Claiomh's relationship seems to be deeper than what is shown. I guess in reality that's a mature way of showing affection, being casual and still able to understand each other's feelings.

AAAAANNNDDDD IT IS FINALLY OVER! I just confirmed from the website where the old version was created, there are finally no more seasons! If surviving this trash till its final episode doesn't make me a dedicated anime fan, then nothing will.

As for a review: the plot was spreading absolutely EVERYWHERE and had more twists and turns than a baby with diarrhoea during night-time! Absolutely nothing made any sense and none of the events ended in a way where 0 things would make sense! The characters were not likeable at all, except Corgon (Sanctum, Yuis, etc.) whom despite his cool Sasuke-like exterior, he had the naming sense of a Mexican not being able to decide on a name. Most of the female cast was made to look good and it were super demeaning to some male characters. The battle between Orphen and Corgon was hyped for so long, only to end on a draw/Orphen half-winning type of conclusion and it ended faster than a prostate exam. Nothing I can think of that was likeable in any way - this anime was like someone was thinking 'hmmm - let's make the most horrible isekai in the world and everyone said - sure'. I am hoping nobody revives this shit to continue the story.

Overall Score: 1/10. Thanks for wasting 4 seasons of my life - good riddance! :(

Iskandar • 10 months ago

My always favorite scenes are when Orphen casts his spells, since they mostly always look cool and had a ton of versatility. xD

IStandAlone Roronoa Zoro • 10 months ago

Oh yeah, finally something positive about this series.

Iskandar • 10 months ago

Yeah, I watched the first anime (says about my age) and just enjoyed the new series for what it is. Also bought Orphen's Nendoroid after watching the last episode. xD

Violetta Bertini • 10 months ago

> Absolutely nothing made any sense and none of the events ended in a way where 0 things would make sense!

Not to sound too haughty, but the fact that *you* could not grasp it does not mean that there was no sense at all.

I actually favour stories where a lot of the intricacies are hinted and it is left to the watcher to go and piece things together, without being spoon-fed.

IStandAlone Roronoa Zoro • 10 months ago

It is one thing to hide intricacies, and another to sip content and leave too much context uncovered. The author of this story felt like he/she had Alzheimer and was struggling to reminisce what happened in the previous episode before starting off the next one. I also prefer stories where we are not spoon-fed the ending, but in this particular case, there were way too many pieces of content and outcome that were skipped (not on purpose, but accidentally). Otherwise, how would you explain that in one scene, you have Tish explaining things to the Council and in another Azalie explaining these things without mentioning 'when' did Azalie possessed Tish?!? There are pieces of information that should be shown for us to think 'oh, so Azalie possessed Tish at... and then used her body to appear in physical form in front of the Council' - all of this scene btw proving pointless, bcs those Council members could see Azalie without her even hiding. You understand? Too many pointless actions during the story.

Kenshiro ケンシロウ • 10 months ago

Hope there won't be any more space for this bs

brierom • 10 months ago

There isn't anymore. The LN adaptation is wholly complete-but-incomplete from start to finish, but at one point we just didn't care anymore.

Just let this fade into oblivion.

Psicore • 10 months ago

Finally. It ended without ending. 😂🔥🤔

Daemon Redfox • 10 months ago

and this time there is not another season announced.....yet....

The ending was.....ok, i suppose, at least the 2useless blond mc had a year of training, so they are not useless, cleo can now defend herself :D

20 min without the dwarves and then....yep, they still live, they will always look for a way to appear and annoy :/

are there more volume contents? bc if we had 4 seasons and is rentable in japan, is probable there would be 5 season XD

also, WHY IS SOMEONE LIKE HEARTIA AT THE TOP, JUST KILL THE GUY XD

arra1213 • 10 months ago

from what i heard orphen and claiomh got married in the end of the light novel

Violetta Bertini • 10 months ago

Haertia despite being a bit of a sleaze, was shown particularly in the first series as a rather dashing and competent sorcerer, capable to go toe-to-toe with Orphen for a while; and I guess the only two other candidates, Tish and Forte, are now busy with a new family.

And, yes: the dwarfs just hurt the whole mood :(

Yasir Amin • 10 months ago

Wew tish ate alot

Aleste • 10 months ago

I kinda dig seeing Claiomh dressed up like a cowgirl. But wait, how come she joins Orphen in the ending? What about Majic?

Lightning Ragna • 10 months ago

So Tish is pregnant with Forte Child, who would have known, this ending is pretty much where the LN left off so to say, still a lot of unanswered questions tho
